Posture Improvements with Parker. Parker is active duty Military so he’s not in town for long. First picture was back in 2020 we did about 12 sessions in 3 months and then did 12 more sessions from Feb to March 2022. With Functional Patterns, the changes we make stick, as long as people are willing to put in the work.

Some progress with Mike: 9 hours using Functional Patterns techniques. Mike works in front of a computer all day and has developed pain on his neck, and instability on his knees. His goal is to be able to move better to stay injury free while doing outdoor activities. In just three sessions we can see some spinal decompression, better head position, less lumbar shift, TVA engagement, better position of the ribcage and shoulders. All pictures all relaxed without any cueing.

I’ve done many different types of training in my lifetime given that I’ve been blessed enough to have experience in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers. “In the last year since starting FP I learned to run on the balls of my feet with my best form ever. Running has become a fun recovery workout where I feel my way through my steps and find ways to more proportionately involve my upper body. This has led to improved thoracic engagement in my stride and the other corrective exercises have resulted in adding .25” to my height (.75” if measured at the end of the day, thanks gravity!). My sport involves lots of wrestling and joint locks. My neck regularly gets cranked on. Theres no question that I’m leaner and stronger because of FP, but what is most notable is that no matter how I’m feeling from what I put my body through, I am only one 60 minute session away from being literally pain free. I’ve corrected so many injuries this past year with Rodney that my body comes up with new ones. Never the same, always less than the one preceding it. Despite the fact that what I do for a sport isn’t very “functional” I still make gains. My right knee had limited range of flexion for 4 years after two surgeries; now, with no stretching whatsoever I’ve reclaimed that entire leg and I can use my full range of movement in it offensively in a grappling match. At the beginning of year one, I didn’t even know what kind of goals to set for Functional Patterns. Now I have too many. The range and depth of dysfunction in just one person is often overwhelming and I am no exception. Heres to another year of getting younger! “

You can see the compression on the picture on the left where Chris was trying to copy Functional Patterns dynamic exercises without the proper tensions. On the right we began to build on fundamental anchors that allow his tissues to suspend his structure and create traction while moving. People are seeking results after being failed time after time by the rest of the industry, FP delivers.
